- Location: Remote with some travel – Houston, TX based candidates preferred
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $130k – 160k/year

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the modernization of a monolithic internal system, transitioning towards microservices and cloud-based architecture.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and work with CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
What Gets You the Job:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Java and Angular.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Expertise in relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.
- Experience leading technical discussions, mentoring developers, and contributing to best practices in coding and deployment.
